Born and Raised In Utah
On a personal note, I’m a father, insanely gifted copywriter, and hugely successful entrepreneur all rolled into one. I am also an avid martial artist, and one of the most stubborn determined people you’ll ever meet.
I grew up in a quiet corner of Utah, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. I love hiking and snowboarding in these magnificent mountains, which I have plenty of time to do these days.
I also lived in Encinitas, California for 5 years which was an amazing experience. I go back often to body surf, enjoy the beach and mastermind with Frank Kern, Eben Pagan, and our group of multi-millionaire marketers.
But it wasn’t always this way…
Dead Broke Joke
I have always wanted to be a wildly successful business owner!
Ever since I can remember, I would take notice of marketing – newspaper ads, radio spots, tv commercials, you name it. I love breaking down the specific words used and seeing how all kinds of different businesses generate leads and profit on virtual autopilot.
I also knew that the old-school mentality of “go to college & get a good job” was not the path for me. I’m smart (some say too smart for my own good) but the thought of paying $160,000 or more over 4 years… just to get a little piece of paper and $40k salary just didn’t sound like the great return on investment I wanted.
So after high school, I began my search. I’ve held at least 40 different “jobs” in my lifetime, and I got fired from 95% of them…
But I learned something from every experience, and these lessons have served me well as an entrepreneur. I’ve been dead broke, and it’s not fun.
It’s also NOT the end of the world, and you can only go up from there!
It’s interesting… as I look back, I see now that being broke may even be a pre-requisite for living the lifestyle of your dreams. When you have nothing to lose, all your excuses fall by the wayside.

I Tried It All!
Look, if you’ve heard of it, I probably tried to make money with it. Chain letters, cash gifting, mlm, real estate, direct mail, work at home, the list goes on and on. I tried and failed miserably for 6 full years at old-school MLM… and it was NOT FUN!
I honestly lost my first home to foreclosure, wasted over $45,000, utterly destroyed my personal credit, and filed for divorce as a direct result of my endless quest for financial independence.
Most people would have given up after a couple months of this torture, but as I mentioned – I’m kind of stubborn, and I’m NOT most people.

So, I turned to the internet – determined to learn Internet Marketing. But instead of affiliate marketing, I first got into the top-tier direct sales form of network marketing, and did very well with it. In fact, I became a top earner in my company.
Only problem was, VERY few people were able to duplicate my success because they didn’t have the knowledge gained from years of failure…
