  • "God gave us two ears and one mouth. If we use them accordingly, we should listen twice as often as we speak". I wish I could take credit for that quote, but I can't. It was something I remember my Grandmother saying to me as I was growing up. Every time I was running off at the mouth and not listening to what she was saying, should would give me that quote. It's still hard to this day to live by that. How about you??
  • Good Morning. Heading out to a networking group meeting this morning. Just recently join two of them. Being new to this way of getting the word out about my service that I'm promoting, I can surely use some suggestions. I do know that with this and other networking arena's (ie Twitter, Facebook etc) that establishing relationships with people is the key to success. What do you think??
  • Awesome Mike -

    Just got off a webinar last night where the topic was live networking. You only goal is to make a connection and build relationships. If they're showing interest in what you do, offer to sit down for a 30 minute consultation to determine if you're a fit for their goals.

    When you approach new contacts and listen to their issues, make valid recommendations, and genuinely HELP OUT... you will be much more likely to get free consultation appointments and signups.

    Good luck networking!

  • Hi Nick;
    Not very familiar with twitter. Been on Facebook quite a bit, though. Will have to do more self tutoring. :)
  • Awesome Mike,

    Social media will definitely help you generate more leads for PrePaid Legal. Saw your video optin, I'd *HIGHLY* recommend you 2 step your prospects by first sending them to a page asking only for email address and branding yourself before you show your opportunity.

    Let me know if you need any help.
